When: Monday, December 3 2012, 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Reitz Union Matthews Suite
Category: Special Event

The Asian Pacific Islander American Affairs office of Multicultural and Diversity Affairs, Association of Asian Alumni, and Asian American Student Union are hosting a Mentor-Mentee Mixer/Reveal for the APIA Alumni Mentoring Network program.

The goal of the APIA Alumni Mentoring Network is to cultivate a group of future professionals and workers who are affirmed in their APIA identity, self-identify as leaders, and have the competence to thrive in an ever-diversifying workforce. We will achieve this goal through matching APIA undergraduate students with professional mentors who are currently in their ideal career fields. Mentees will receive guidance in cultivating their professional skills and networking abilities in order to prepare for the realities, challenges, and opportunities of a professional environment.

In the Mentor-Mentee Mixer/Reveal, mentors and mentee will meet their respective pairings, as well as network with others present at the event. It is also a chance for individuals who did not sign up for the program to learn what it is and the benefits of the program.
